Left, hardened apricot seed (tastes like almond) Right, fallen unripe apricot (tastes sour)
Chia Porridge 1/4 cup chia seeds 6 cardamom pods 2 cups unsweetened nut milk (I use hazelnut in Istanbul bc I can't find unsweetened almond milk) Let chill over night and enjoy all week! 1/4 cup mixed with flax, 1/8 cup fruit, walnuts and cinnamon makes for an energy packed low carb/sugar morning that will last you well into lunch time.
Slow Starter Cook time approx 25 minutes Eggs: Sunflower seed oil, turmeric, cracked black pepper and sliced leeks simmering on low (2-3) until leek is slightly browned, about 5 minutes. Crack two eggs and let simmer for 12/15 minutes until yok no longer shakes. Mushrooms and Zucchini: Cook on medium to high heat depending on how much you have in your pan, the less in the pan the lower the heat. Sunflower seed oil should be cracking a bit when you put veggies it. Place them far apart and let fry about 10 minutes or until the sides are browned. Turn over and let fry another 8 or so minutes. British pork sausage: Poke small holes and bake on 190°C for 20 minutes. Use the oil from the veggies once they are finished and let the sausage crisp and brown in that pan for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh parsley, Italian red pepper and flax meal. #cutekitchenwarrior #healthy2015 #pcosproud
