Asriel is probably a first year in college. Nobody recounts him coming back from college for any breaks yet— Tenna acts like Asriel has essentially left him for good, implying once again that he’s never came back for summer break. I feel like with this in mind, Dess was probably about thirteen when she disappeared. Dess is also inspired by Ness from Earthbound… who’s, y’know, thirteen.
