he's not talking to fans. he's talking to his fellow pop punk band members, in different bands, that think you're all tough.
Fans, band members... it still doesn't matter.
I play in a bluegrass group and I'll dress however urban, hip hop, or tough that I like.
My point is, the music you listen to or the clothes you wear don't define you. If a guy plays in a pop punk band and thinks he's tough, let him. He just might be. Maybe not. People concern themselves with how others carry themselves too much.
