I couldn't find if you covered this, but the Halifax school board voted to start each school day acknowledging Mi'kmaq lands. Doesn't go so far as to clarify they're unceded Mi'kmaq lands, but it feels like a step in the right direction.

I posted this a few days ago:

I couldn’t watch it until I was vegan and I still felt bad that I wasn’t actively freeing animals, the word speciesism is hella ridic tho yeah and all the comparisons to the holocaust and slavery were like so Beginner Vegan that i rolled my eyes constantly
