“what if we just skip it?” emily was extremely thankful to have erin as a friend, especially given the fact that they had hit it off quite quickly once her family got to chicago. after all the moving that the rhodes had done, realizing one friend was better than none made getting used to all of it that much easier. “homecoming isn’t that exciting, right? i mean my mom said all she did was get drunk and watch her date embarrass himself for a couple of hours straight, that doesn’t seem that fun to me.”
