A show i'm working on!
I really want to start uploading the story I wrote about sisters, but I'm just scared because it's not perfect and I know it. People are just critical and it would just break my heart if people didn't like it
Catching Up With the Cheaters ♢ Malik Brothers
Anthony was pretty excited to be spending some time with his family since it had been a little over a month since they've all hung out together. He was slightly happy to hear they weren't going out since he wasn't in any mood to step outside of the complex after the night he had. Making sure he looked halfway decent, Anthony threw on a pair of sweats and a t-shirt and ran his fingers through his hair as he made his way out of his room and into the halls. The blue eyed boy slowly made his way down the hall not really caring about keeping his brother's waiting since he knew they'd be waiting on him anyways. Finally approaching the door, he didn't bother knocking as he walked in making himself comfortable on the couch.
Zayn: Zayn rummaged through his already packed boxes, nose scrunching up. "I know it was here somewhere." He huffed, looking box through box for the games he knew he had. He pursed his lips, rolling his eyes at himself when his eyes were met with the box labeled 'games'. The only one he didn't look through, go figure. He dug into that one, pushing the video games aside, grabbing Monopoly, Apples to Apples, Sorry, Clue, Guess What I Am, and some other things he just stacked. He didn't even remember buying all these games, holy shit. He knew they might not have time to play all of them, but he brought them anyways, trying to figure out how he was going to carry all of them without dropping them first thing. He finally managed to do it, groaning as he looked over at the door. Yeah, he didn't really think this one through. He set the games back down again, trusting Kipper wouldn't run out the door when Zayn opened it, grabbing the games once again and closing the door with his foot. He struggled with the high stack of games, carefully getting up and down the stairs, not wanting a repeat of what happened years ago. It still haunts him to this very day, okay? A proud smile was plastered on his face when he made way in Roman's room, no mishaps, nothing dropped, no one falling down the steps. He set the games down on the counter, chirping an 'Hello' to his slightly older brother, immediately grabbing a slice of pizza. "I brought games." He pointed out the obvious, head nodding to the stack of games. He sat down on the nearest chair, shrugging. "Looks like Malik number three is fashionably late." After he said that, not even moments later, he saw Anthony walk in. "So much for fashionably late." He snorted, eyebrows raising, a small smile resting upon his lips.
Roman having heard the door open, Roman pushed the chair with the wheels in his room back on the carpeted floor with difficulty before hearing the quiet gruff growling of Kovu whom had quickly gotten up upon Roman standing up. Putting a hand to silence the pitbull, Roman scratched at the back material of his shirt before tugging at the hem only to make his way out of his own room with the phone in his hand that soon went to his pocket. Walking over to see his brother on the couch, Roman patted Anthony's shoulder before signing to him, 'What kind of pizza do you want? It's over here.' he motioned without moving his lips, waiting for the answer before turning towards the kitchen table and grabbing a handful of plastic plates before opening the carton boxes.Watching the stack of games Zayn had brought on Roman was quick to comment on it, 'Geek.' Roman signed with a faint smile and said out of pure habit whenever Anthony was around . It was common courtesy, really. And he tried to make it easier on his brother-- always had. "Eat pizza before it gets cold, yea? Fuckin' twenty bucks my arse for this shit. It's ridiculous." he grumbled, grabbing his own plastic plate and serving himself a simple slice of cheese pizza.
Anthony kept his eyes on Roman as he signed to him, choosing not to answer him with any words and just getting up from his comfortable spot on the couch to grab him a slice of pizza from each box. "Where's the drinks at?" He asked taking a bite of the pizza that was in front of him as his eyes scanned over the games Zayn brought with him. "Let's play Monopoly. I call the thimble." Placing the plate on the table, he picked up the game moving the rest of them off the table and pulling the top off. Anthony looked up every so often to make sure he wasn't missing any part of the conversation that was going on around him as he set up the board and sorted out the money.
Zayn: Zayn shrugged with a smug smile at Roman's comment, taking another bite of the pizza. Zayn looked over at Roman as Anthony asked the question, since he didn't really know. He was assuming the fridge, since, well, that's usually where you found them. But Roman was an odd one. Zayn took a moment to think of what he had learned with the whole sign language thing. 'Good, because I wanted the dog.' Is what he hoped he had said, a proud look on his face for being able to do that. He took his game piece, putting it on start, beginning to organize the money. "I want to be the banker, I'm the banker." He exclaimed, this feeling too much like old times.
Roman: Watching the signs Zayn managed to say, Roman was quick to shake his hand through Zayn's hair with a smile before making his way around the couch and planting himself on the ground, setting his pizza on the table off to the side before reaching for the small dog item and turning it to Kovu, 'We'll pretend it's you." he spoke out, before scratching the back of his dogs ear before setting it at the start of the board game. Turning to Zayn, he lifted his chin just barely before speaking, "Don't try to rip me off or I'll rip-- nah, that sounds too violent. Just don't rip me off, you fuck." Roman teased easily before turning towards Anthony. "You, too. I'll put you both in bankruptcy if you try anything funny, I'm serious." He stated with a serious expression that soon faltered into a smile. "Alright, who goes first?"
Anthony got up and made his way into the kitchen making himself a glass of water since that seemed to be the only thing he could stomach as of now. He sat back down on the couch and looked over at Roman as he spoke then picked up the small thimble piece, placing it on his pinkie as Zayn organized the money. "No more signing tonight, yeah? I think I can manage reading lips for the night." He said glancing between the two boys as he reached over for one of the carton boxes and grabbing him a few more slices of pizza.
Zayn: Zayn smiled wide, making himself comfortable next to Anthony on the couch. He smirked, looking down at the money in attempt to hide it. Honestly, it's how he won this game nearly every time when they were kids, was being the banker. He would give himself more money, and his brothers less. Or he would give himself more houses when they weren't looking. He pouted when Roman took the dog away from him, something he should have been used to by now, taking the hat instead, mumbling a soft 'jerk' under his breath, though it was out of good fun. He finally set everything up, taking the dice in his hands, about to roll them before handing them to Roman, knowing better than to think he could go first with Roman around. He looked back over at Anthony, nodding his head. "Alright. Fair enough. So how've you guys been?"
Roman: So, yeah, Roman was an arse. Nothing new there and he couldn't help the damn chuckle that escaped him after taking hold of the item his brother had picked. Smugly taking hold of the die from Zayn, Roman shook them before letting it hit the board before him. Seven. Fair enough. "Good." Roman responded, eyes intent on counting the squares before settling on the location, shaking his head to refuse buying anything the first time around. "How are you guys?" Rome asked, looking up at his brothers knowing it'd been long since they'd all properly hung out.
Anthony sucked his teeth at Zayn's action and placed his piece on the board still shaking his head, pulling his knees up to his chest he let his head rest on them as he looked over at Zayn to go next. "I am pretty fantastic. No complaints here," he said rather flatly reaching over into the box and picking up one of the small green houses and placing it on is finger. "What about you two? Save any lives? Create any lives?"
Zayn: Zayn let out a dramatic sigh, leaning back into the couch, fingers playing with the play money, making sure to make his eyes look sad so Roman would feel just a little bad for taking his piece. "I'm good, better, or whatever. Hey, that rhymed." His nose scrunched up as he laughed, an eyebrow soon cocking on his forehead. "You don't sound fine." He mumbled, though it didn't matter how loud he was, since Anthony was reading his lips anyway. "Yeah, I'm pregnant." He joked, taking his turn, rolling the dice and moving his three spots. Just his luck.
Roman: "Congrats, mate." Roman began, turning to Zayn, "Always figured you'd be the first to give mum grandchildren." He teased, reaching over to the dice and taking his turn yet again. Roman decided against prying towards his brothers and decided if they wanted to get in depth and talk, or whatever, he'd listen. But on their own terms. Nothing else. "I'm taking Lux to meet mum during the break." Roman stated simply as he moved his piece just five spots this time around. "What about you guys? Any plans?"
Anthony nudged Zayn slightly at the joke and just shook his head, "And who is the father of this love child?" He asked, sneakingly placing the hotel on one of the avenue squares as he looked between each of his brothers. "I'm gonna get a hotel with Payno and we're gonna be awkward together. Does that count as plans?" Taking another sip of his water, Anthony reached over and grabbed another piece of pizza frowning slightly at the empty box in front of him.
Zayn: "Thanks, if it's anything like me, it's screwed." He chuckled, humming obnoxiously at the information, his eyebrows wiggling. "Yeah? You nervous?" Zayn thought for a long moment, eyebrows furrowing. "The guy who plays Thor, yeah." Zayn puffed his cheeks as Anthony talked, nodding slowly, looking back down at the game board. "Sure does. I'm probably gonna stay with a friend here. Since I've got training and shit."
Roman: Roman's own cheeks were soon filled with air before slowly deflating with time. Reaching over for his pizza, Roman took a decent bite before chewing it all as he rolled the die in his hands yet again, ending up with only two which had him exclaiming 'bullocks' with his mouth half full. "Zayn," he said as he cleared his mouth. "I'll buy it. Hand over the card." He motioned out with his palm facing up as he brought in his fingers to motion his brother to give him the property card. "You're not gonna go see mum?" He questioned with knitted eyebrows. "Y'know it's been ages since she's seen the lot of us, right?" he questioned to the both of them, just barely signing in the process.
Anthony glanced between the two of them and bit down on his lip as he watched Roman move his piece around the board. His eyes soon followed Roman's hand then looked at where his piece was on the board. "I don't think so, but I guess you make a pretty valid point. Maybe I'll drop by eventually." Anthony didn't try to think about it too much as he picked up the die and rolled it, moving the small metal piece the appropriate amount of spaces as he picked up a chance card. "I only like these things when I'm getting money," he complained and gave Zayn one hundred dollars, "That's for the hospital."
Zayn: Zayn couldn't help but laugh at Roman for only getting two, though he pouted when he had to give Roman a blue property card. "I wanted blue." He murmured, acting for too much like a child. Zayn let out a sigh, all while taking his turn, going ahead and buying an orange property. "I wanted to, I did. But I've got training and I can't really leave." He frowned, soon raising his eyebrows. "You're not very good at this game, are you?" He snickered, taking the money from Anthony and giving it back to the bank.
Roman: Proudly taking the card, Roman set the card off to the side before waiting for his brother to roll his die. At that, he got himself up and headed towards the kitchen, quickly grabbing a water bottle from the fridge before heading back to his previous spot on the floor next to his dog. "So. Training. When's that over and done with?" Roman finally questioned once he settled himself in his spot.
Anthony cleared his throat, secluding back into the cushion of the couch as he watched the two childishly play the game and softly smiled to himself. He had an urge to whisper to Zayn about taking Roman's card, but he'd rather not get in the way of the obvious competition going on between the two guys. "Yeah. How's that going, Robocop?" He asked rolling the die and moving his piece along the board.
Zayn: Eyeing the card, an idea popped up in his mind, cocking an eyebrow, waiting for the right time to take it. He quickly yanked it when Roman turned away, pursing his lips so the smirk wouldn't show up on his face, hiding the card between the cushions. Zayn smiled wide, his stomach twisting. He always loved talking about his training, it gave him a sense of pride. "It's going really good. I actually graduate sooner than I thought. I was talking to the head dude and said we move on around mid March. I think he said the sixteenth. But, yeah, I thought it was in mid April, so that's good news."
Roman "Head dude." Roman says, uncapping his water and taking a sip before looking at the board before him. Something was off. "Well, least you'll be done by then, yeah? You're gettin' the damn hat, aren't you?" He questioned, once again eyeing the board before him. "You fucks are cheating /already/!" Roman exclaimed, flipping his hands up into the air. "It's barely been a damn circle 'round, are you /serious/?" He let out flabbergasted before letting himself lean back on his arms. "Seriously, you both suck."
