FIELD OF DREAMS. Bonifacio Elementary School is one of the farthest and poorest Barangay in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija. It is about 15 km away from the town proper and is literally situated at the center of a vast rice field. Through the request of Teacher and newly appointed School Principal Mr. Carlo Mañalac, we visited the school and brought the much needed school books and references to help the kids and the teachers. These 2nd batch of books (the 1st in 2013) shall also initially fill the planned small library with the help of the parents and local officials in partnership with Books For A Cause. In this visit, we met John Paul Flores, a Grade 6 pupil who was born with no arms and yet makes his way to fulfill his simple dreams. Yes he is right-handed . . . Right footed! Please watch him write his name using the fingers of his right foot.
