We are pleased to officially announce CV-Fest 2023! During the festival period people are encouraged to create works using CV formatted UTAU and share their works using our hashtags.
I recently learned about this UTAU named Kotone Keiko (琴音けいこ)! She's a piano fairy released in 2010. She's both cute and cool~ so I made a short cover with her for CV-Fest!
i did really simple art for this bank, based on the little chibis in Meg’s PNG folder in the LOL bank because i thought the simplicity and the style kind of fit the throwback vibe.

bank details:
its a bit more effort than a standard monopitch CV but it is still a CV at the end of the day! it’s recorded at Ada’s original 4 pitches from the original 2020 quadpitch powerscale: F3, B3, E4 and A4, ranging from soft to tense/solid respectively. There’s also a D5 falsetto pitch if you want softer stuff at the high notes. There are no VV blends, though, as to keep to a more retro sound and not lean into VCV territory.
there’s a folder of extras including: end exhales, end inhales, vocal fry, and glottal stops. there’s also the folder of voice acted extras that comes in every Ada bank using Joey’s reclist.
somewhere in the middle of 2009, i recorded a voicebank and named her Kii Nane.
the other day (19th Feb 2023) i was inspired to record a new CV bank and compare the old with the new.
i tried to emulate how i remember recording the original vb, and the new vb has a buzzing undertone as a result. it's nostalgic, in a way.
Hiya! After a lot of work, I’m finally ready to release Itazura Seto & Seiko’s CV-VV voicebanks! Their release will premiere later today, March 16th, at 10 PM EST!! ^-^
Really wanted to celebrate his bday/work on this for CV fest! :) First time putting him on a rock song/anything other than a slow/traditional song lmfao. Had a good time with manipulating the mix and .UST!
