the hermit - how do you like to spend your days off, alone?
bora laughs at the question, though she’s not entirely sure why.
“i like being alone, you know. it might not seem like it, but i do.” the bora that everyone knows now is only a more recent manifestation of herself, the result of being truly on her own for the first time ever. what opportunities would she get to reinvent herself besides this, being somewhere brand new, where not a single soul knows a thing about her? if people are willing to listen to all the thoughts swirling around in her head (or at least nod and pretend that they are), she’s no longer going to stop herself from letting them out for the world to hear. truthfully, she can probably talk to a wall for hours on end if it means getting all her thoughts out of her head for even a minute. “i like... making stuff. crafts, and all that. apparently it was one of the only things that would get me to sit still when i was younger. i paint now, mostly. but sometimes i write, or do other things... oh! have you seen those tiny clay figurines before online? like, i think they’re for dollhouses or something. i want to try those out someday, they look super cool.” bora types away at her phone for a minute, pulling up a link to show the other, a grin slowly spreading on her face. “would you want to try it out with me one day? if we both suck at it, at least we’ll suck together... worth a good laugh or two.”
