✧A Coveted Person (CVP) is a Special Person attachment that occurs with individuals with Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD). The person with HPD (pwHPD) may feel jealous of their CVP for one reason or another. This does not automatically equal devaluation, as one may be able to respect someone they’re envious of. This could be a modifier, such as a Coveted Spotlight Person or Coveted Heedless Person, depending on if it’s more negative or positive jealousy, but it can be a stand alone term as well.✧
