✧A Yearned Person (YEP) is a Special Person attachment that occurs with individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). The person with BPD (pwBPD) may feel jealous of their YEP for one reason or another. This does not automatically equal devaluation, as one may be able to respect someone they’re envious of. This could be a modifier, such as a Yearned Reflection Person or Yearned Disparaged Person, depending on if it’s more negative or positive jealousy, but it can be a stand alone term as well.✧

✧An Envied Person (ENVP) is a Special Person attachment that occurs with individuals with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). The person with NPD (pwNPD) may feel jealous of their ENVP for one reason or another. This does not automatically equal devaluation, as one may be able to respect someone they’re envious of. This could be a modifier, such as a Envied Respected Person or Envied Lowlife depending on if it’s more negative or positive jealousy, but it can be a stand alone term as well.✧

✧A Locum (-L) is a replacement of ‘person’ in Special Person (Special Locum) that occurs with persodivergent individuals (or may be a side effect of some medications). The persodivergent individual (pwPD) considers their Special Locum (SL) a suitable substitute for the primary SP. For example, a pwDPD may have a 'backup' dependent person (DP) to rely on when their primary dependent person isn't available. This 'backup' would be considered a Dependent Locum (DL).✧
