"Sorry to just spring this on you, Baby Girl," Vox kissed her cheek gently, pressing his screen to her forehead, "But I really need to go to work. The station is, apparently, falling apart without me today. Katie's being an unholy terror."

"Nothing newsworthy about that," With a little laugh, she hugged Vox close before pushing him towards the door, "I've got it, promise."

"I know, you're a good girl." With that and a hasty goodbye, Vox was out the door and on his way to the TV station. This, of course, left Velvette alone in Vox's home with the RoboFizz he'd been charged with fixing.

Her trek along the bright red rim of light around the ceiling brought her to the living room with its sleek, modern black furniture. Taking pause here, she blinked a couple of times in confusion before tilting her head. He'd been in here just a minute ago, hadn't he?

"Where're you hiding? I thought we were gonna play a game. Is it hide and seek?"
