What Cwiredband is all about is a re-configuration of traditional modes of music, elements of rock, country, and jazz into a unique blend. The newness of the sound comes from classically rock jazz fusion, written material performed with modern instrumentation and sound techniques. The lyrics are scribed by C Wired. They come through him. All of the songs are based on his direct experiences with alternative relationships, Spiritual growth, overcoming addictions, etc.

Right now we are... Working on our next EP. C Wired has more than enough material to record a full-length album, but both he and producer Addison Smith are really comfortable with more frequent releasees every 3-6 months utilizing the 6 song EP format. It’s more in tune with the way we consume and listen to music today anyways. Most people are not taking the time to listen to an entire album. They select the one or two songs they like and add them to their playlist. Working on getting booked for European and US based tours, festivals, etc

We can change our world together by holding a shared vision of Peace and Abundance for ALL. The music just comes. I hear grooves and riffs at 4 in the morning, wake up and put it down on the guitar I keep by me bed. For year, I was writing on acoustic softer ballad jazz rock Americana pieces then I moved into a phase where I cranked the Stratocaster up for harder rock sound. I saw Royal Blood perform at last years Fire Fly Festival in Delaware. Just two guys - they blew me away. I was totally inspired by RB. I was writing the softer stuff the kind you can hear on my previous release Omega. - I said to myself I am going to write some balls to the walls material. Not shred or metal just no apologies gained up rock.

What piece of music advice forever changed your way of thinking? Music was an extension of my Spiritual journey, my awakening to higher levels of consciousness. C Wired is a representation of my true Identity. In this life time I am a Renaissance man who accepted the co creative energy of music that comes through me. I had to surrender lower false narratives, idols if you will, regarding money, fame, sex, etc. My ego stood in the way and attempted to block these beautiful treasures from coming into fruition. Its motives had to be put aside. True art is simply created to Be, not to attain any individual goal.

Music as a business (making money) is tough. It can be done but only by a small fraction of those who do it. I was able to have some success later in life because I was not financially dependent on the music. Best advice is to get a day job or part time gig to support your passion.

Creating music is completely different from my previous career. Left brain versus right brain thing. It has provid3d a discovery process for me to know a completely different side of myself.

We are all here to create. It can be artistically, entrepreneurial, socially, literary, etc. My creativity has taken various forms during my life and can be present at that same moment of time. From creating a family, businesses and music. In its highest form creativity is a co-creative process with the Divine. However you individually perceive that Divine energy to be. We are all One from the same source though with have unique individual ways to manifest it. We are expressing the Universe of Love in various physical forms.

What Cwiredband is all  My musical influences include Alanis Morrisette, Dire Straits, Doobie Brothers, The Doors, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Paul Simon, Radiohead, Santana, Yes Angel Circuit Engaged is the formation of the Cwiredband. Addison Smith is C Wired’s wingman who produces records and smokes the guitars. He is very much responsible for the sound. It’s a joint effort. C write the lyrics, melodies, licks, and grooves and Addison just takes them and runs with it. Daniel Kelly the band’s drummer comes from a highly accomplished jazz background. His different percussive approach applied to C’s writing is also what gives us our unique flavor. He’s a little like Keith Moon with his off-center approach to what would be considered traditional pocket rockers.

Andrew Renner on Bass is very tasteful. He is an amazing progressive jazz guitarist who fortunately decided he wanted to play bass with Cwiredband. Gary Pigg is the consummate Nashville professional who has worked with Neil Young among others. He arranges all the back-up vocals. Cwiredband uses the same vocal personnel on all its tracks. They are Angelic and are the icing on the cake to many of the songs.

This song is... the fruit of the collaborative work of 2 French Canadian artists who wanted to

1) make you dance and 2) tell a positive empowering story with a light mood.

The instrumental piece of the song was produced by Chloe Touma a.k.a Lady Monarkey, who also owns the Record Label MusiqMatch. She was looking for a French Canadian performer who would take the song to another level by adding their own personal touch to it. Someone with talent and stage presence, who also had the image of a fresh face. After listening to a number of demos received by Quebec singers, only one really stood out for this song.

AzemCa's deep and soulful voice, her capacity to feel the groove and the lyrics and to bring them to life made it clear that she was the right choice. She came up with her own lyrics for the song and rehearsed it, and together with Chloe went in the studio only a few weeks later to record it. She nailed it! The song and music video tell the story of a girl who stops being the broken-hearted girlfriend and learns to move on and get on with her life. In a very modern yet not too serious tone, the song is about self-respect and female empowerment, but is ultimately fun for everyone.
