Admins, Moderators & Moderation - Corrupt Worlds Roblox AU
Work Attire (Moderators):
Moderators are required to wear the clothing in the image above. They can skip on the hat, but HAVE to at least wear the jacket and Tag.
They don’t have to write their name down, even though they are encouraged to. Either way, Robloxian’s can view their Users and see they are a Moderator, by using their Menu anyway.
They’re allowed to wear basically anything they want. As long as it isn’t “too unprofessional”… Though, most Admins can get away with looking VERY unprofessional regardless.
Even more freedom with the “unprofessional-attire” thing is given to specially well-known Admins. *COUGH* Shedletsky *COUGH-
Moderators (Described poorly):
Job Description: New Moderators are required to stay at an HQ and review Reports sent in by Users. If the report says they did a bad, and they actually did a bad, you can file a report to police. And/or if it is very bad doings, you can ban their user remotely!…
Some Moderators stay at HQ and Monitor bad behavior or whatever… Some go and hunt Hackers/Criminals or Anomalies, because they’re dangerous.
Experienced Moderators will be sent to Patrol either Worldhopper Homeworlds (that allow it), or Nexus, to make sure no crimes or anomalous incidents occur
Some Moderators will be tasked with finding hazardous Anomalies, and either Containing them, or Neutralizing them
NOTE: There are two kinds of Bans. 1) Being banned from Worldhopping (between Mini or Homeworlds), and 2) Being banned from ALL of the Worlds, aka Robloxia., meaning they go to the badlands.
MODERATORS CAN: Report “bad/criminal behavior” to police, basically working with them. Or ban people who have done worse enough things, by using their Menu’s to indirectly-ban them, or get a Ban-Hammer permit and do it the hard (and old-fashioned) way…
MODS CANNOT: Permanently change the Worldcode of a World, teleport someone directly into a Prison without trial or permission from a Higher-Up. They also can’t teleport people into the waiting void without good reason.
Basically: Moderators are a bit like police officers, upholding law and such. Except they are legally allowed to (mild-to-moderately) alter Worldcode or Biocode to keep people from getting hurt.
Admins (Also described poorly because yehdyed):
Job Description: You are one of few Robloxian’s deemed responsible enough to wield the power of Worldcode legally! (Regardless of whether you actually are!) You will be required to make a Vow to “protect the innocent and keep the guilty from doing mortal harm to Robloxian(s) or Robloxia … ” With great power comes great responsibilityy…
Admins are often allowed to modify an entire World or Beings Code if: some kind of mortal danger is present, and people will be very badly harmed if they do not. “They must have a reasonable motive for taking such an extreme action”…
How seriously the Higher-Ups take Admin Abuse, is somewhat questionable. It often depends on the region and place it is done in.
If an Admin acts in a sudden way and ruins YOUR Gameworld/Miniworld without reason, or injures you or a loved one? You can do this magical thing called ✨suing them,✨ which can even get them removed from being an Admin!! 😨
The Higher-Ups don’t want blame for ignoring their Admin’s abuse of power, so they’ll likely actually do something if their Admins are getting flippin’ sued.
Note: If you have any questions about moderators or admins in the Corrupt Worlds AU, feel free to ask!… I genuinely might forget this exists. xd
^Hi past-me you forgot this existed for a while
