So like is it ever explained why Marina Oki looks exactly like Zero’s dead wife? At first I assumed it was intentional on someone’s part to fuck with him, since Marina’s body is artificial and could theoretically be created to look like anyone, but in flashbacks to pre-mechanization Marina she still looks the same??? So are they just identical strangers and she ended up on the Karyu with Zero by pure coincidence??
