TRIGGER WARNING FOR A DEAD ANIMAL AHEAD!
It is a snake that died inside the egg a week or so before hatching.
This is the most exciting and incredible part of cxf2. This female died about a week before she should have hatched, most likely due to poking a hole in her own egg. According to our friend, she is a new morph. We were so heartbroken and disappointed that she died, but learning she is a new morph is crazy exciting! We are going to work incredibly hard to try and replicate this snake! That means all cxf babies are holdbacks until further notice! We will be carefully selecting what ones we will use for our breeding project! And maybe within the next few years, we will have a line of babies with this crazy morph!
Some really crazy news having to do with the CxF pairing! Especially cxf2! I’ll update tomorrow!
All of clutch CxF1 has hatched!
Today is cloudy so I can’t take good outdoor pictures, but it’s cleaning day so I’ll be taking weights and will take pictures then!
This is itty bitty! He is from the first CxF clutch and he is currently 6g! He’s a normal het snow!
When we were incubating the clutch, his egg was half the size of the others and started growing mold less than a week into incubation. We thought he had died inside the egg, but we kept him in there just in case.
A week or so after all the other babies had piped, we cut open his egg to see what happened. He was the tiniest little thing. When he first hatched, he was less than 2g. There were so many times where we thought we were going to lose him. He got super dehydrated very easily and was way too small to eat a pinky.
He’s such a good boy though! We’re saving him for a friend because he’s not exactly breeding quality and we don’t need any normals for our projects.
Tomorrow (Monday, July 23) we will be posting clutch CxF1 with prices and other info!
Feel free to message!
First come, first served!
We will be taking deposits in order to reserve your snake, they will be 50% of the sanke’s total cost. The rest will need to be paid off before shipping. Shipping is an additional $55.
Very limited number of snows, red albinos het. snow, axanthics het. snow, and normals het. snow!
If you messaged me earlier, I will be letting you know prices about an hour before they are posted.
Heyy! Im really sorry about Cornbread. Are you going to sell the babies?
Thank you for your concern, and yes! We will be selling them! Although a few will be holdbacks! I will be posting prices soon, along with other information!
CF1 is a red albino! We were NOT expecting any red albinos! When I first saw him, I suspected that was the case, but it was just confirmed by our friend who has been breeding for years! His mother is a normal albino and his father is an axanthic, but we had no knowledge of any red albinos in either of their clutches! So now we have the most beautiful male red albino 100% het snow! Wow! Depending on what else hatches, he might be a holdback!
