"SOMETHIN' AIN' RIGH' HERE."
"Will you be quiet now?" {What a way for our muses to meet.}

A soft thump and his back had hit the wall. And that was it ; that was the end. There was only two ways to go and each were pushing against him. He didn’t know what to do with his hands, and his eyes were widening to get a good view up at the one who was stealing his breath.

報復——;; Twenty six days. Twenty six excruciating days since being turned into this- this thing. A hyrbid with no sense of belonging, stuck between both worlds. He cannot enter either one no matter how hard he tried to fit in. Kaneki was abnormal, a monster that other creatures veered from, and something that humans held underlying thoughts. A half breed, hybrid, hanbun hinshu. A human and a being of the night, fated with lingering through the grey lining between his internal wicked desires, and the hope to enter the human realm. Truly, a tragedy.
Touka had once given him an opening of the ghoul life, hunger for a ghoul- is utter hell. She was right, in more ways than Kaneki could imagine. The teen avoided the sugar cubes that the Manager had bestowed, he wasn't acknowledged with its contents- but he knew it was human. Whether is was the bone marrow compacted into a cube, or grounded bone and dehydrated flesh-- he simply couldn't do it. He'd rather die than give into indulging in cannibalism.
"i'm still human- I am human, I can't- I can't." Staggering down the hall and into the kitchen, the raven haired male found trembling fingertips reaching for a recently washed mug. Just...just this once...
The thought made his stomach turn, none the less, he couldn't stop himself from flipping the coffee brewer on- grounding the beans, preparing for a forbidden meal. "I have to, I have no other choice-" There really was no other option, right? That if he didn't, he would go insane again- He wouldn't risk Hide's life, or any other civilian. From his understanding, these..sugar cubes were distributed from a willing host, someone who gave away their life. But still... it was a human being.
How distasteful.

"Good people don't hurt others... Not like this."
She felt awful now, completely terrible. She didn’t mean to hurt him, honestly she didn’t. Her body was shaking now from not only fear, but guilt as she stumbled away from him, wrapping her kagune around herself as she backed herself into a wall, “…I-I’m… so s-sor…ry…” Tears streamed from her black eyes and down her cheeks as she shakily rose her hands to her face, hiding it in her hands as she began to panic, “I-I’m so sorry… I’m sorry I’m… a b-bad person-n…” She could have killed him. Killed. She never wanted to kill.
Crowded Street || Greeting Starter
Much to the ghoul's discontent, the streets were a bit more crowded than usual today. She was on her way to school and needed to get there before she was too late. Even though she technically didn't have an extreme need to attend school, she didn't want to miss anything and fall behind. Having bumped into a stranger that stood before her, she stumbled a bit, letting out a gasp before she regained her footing, looking up at the stranger before her with embarrassed golden eyes, "Ah-- Sorry, sorry--! Are you okay?!"
