“You know, you didn’t have to leave an appointment request note on an arrow, stuck to the center of my door, just to speak with me.” Which wasn’t to say that he hadn’t had stranger requests for appointments - let alone requests for dates even before he’d become a sorcerer - but that it was certainly one for the books.

“You could just have rung the doorbell. Like a normal person. And even if I hadn’t been around, you could have done the same thing later. Or, you know. Left a voicemail at the phone number listed in the phonebook or something. Just know that arrow was a son of a bitch to repair after - the door was fucking proud of it and didn’t want to get fixed.”

         With that she found arms tightly wrapped around her waist and pulling her to the couch beneath her. A skeptical look was flashed at her as he turned on the TV.

           “ You’re going to sit here and watch Star Wars if that’s what you think. Seriously? That’s what you think? ”

              Her first instinct upon being grabbed is to fight because that is her first instinct in most scenarios. But she reminds herself it’s CLINT and  so she just grumbles as he sets her down on the couch. 

          “ I do not know! ” it had been more than a decade since she had watched any films, and while Star Wars had technically come to Russia by the time she was born, neither Red Room nor the orphanage before were places she would have seen it. “Matrona Kuznetsovna said it was capitalist propaganda.”
