Jade narrowed her eye, looking unimpressed.

“Hello to you too. You’re a gem, right?”

“Ugh, I can’t believe they made some effort of getting rid of my ship... There’s so much missing here...” Wrinkling her nose a bit as she scavenged some of the pieces, carrying what she could as she mentally put together how she was going to piece any of this together to perhaps high tail it off this planet back to homeworld. Perhaps those Crystal Gems had accustomed to the humans’ lifestyles and remained dormant at night...

“Acting only at night has gotten rather cumbersome, though...” Groaning, the verdant gem grabbed another piece before stopping as she heard footsteps in the sand. The steady steps weren’t distinctively light, as most humans were, and reminded her of Jasper, but lighter... Turning around, she backed up a bit at spotting who it was.

No, no, it was the big one! Of all the rotten luck Peridot had to deal with when searching for the warp.. it had to be this one. Neither of those other gems, even though they might not have been better fare.. at least they did not appear as strong, compared to this one. Along with the shades being rather.. well hiding, and perhaps a bit of intimidation of the unknown to them. “Uh...” She barely spoke a word, there was little she could do, other than perhaps make false threats. “Let me by now, or you will be reported heavily for your rule breaking against the homeworld!” Yep, the best Peridot could come up with, of course, that was the most false of all threats, maybe if she threatened to attack one of the other gems, then she could turn something around for herself.
