Three quick knocks sounded on a door before Foggy opened it without thinking twice, Bucky always seemed to know it was him arriving so he’d just gotten into the habit of coming in if the door was open; he didn’t think twice. “Hey Bucky!” Foggy called, closing the door behind him with a foot so he could hold both his large food backs.
“I know we said we’d meet later but I got out of my meeting early and stopped off at that bakery, the one with the amaaaaaazing eclairs so I got like half a dozen... and then another half dozen cause why not. I figured we could stuff our faces and then see about finishing off that whiskey from your birthday cause I-”
He stopped mid-rambling sentence when he looked up and entered the living room of the apartment to see Captain Steve Rogers looking back at him; Foggy’s eyes widened and he froze in place, for several seconds, “Uhhh... Hi.” Came out in a high-pitched tone after a moment.
