this design is by 212moving, and i folded it from a 14-inch square of double sided tissue foil

really fun folding sequence, though it took me a while to learn how to fold the bell sections. everything else is just kinda pleasant repetition though, and i think i might already have the whole thing memorized, even. i'm considering using a button and some thread in the hole at the top as a way to hang it up, also.

a mildly funny detail with this one is that i kept folding it with poorly suited paper before i realized i needed foil to make it pose well, so i have a few unpleasant attempted folds laying around now

I rolled a randomizer today on the ESA list... I knew I would get a plant. 😂 There are 46 different species of Cyanea on the endangered list, and all of them are referred to as Haha in Hawai'ian.

Tillandsia cyanea. According to Wikipedia Tillandsia cyanea has been moved to Wallisia cyanea based on DNA evidence. I don't know it this change has been well accepted, however. It is native to the rainforests of Ecuador.
