Seeking to crush the Decepticon insurgency once and for all, Goldbug, Jazz and Grimlock ventured to find the secret Pretender technology that would give them the necessary power to do it. As they located the lab with the organic shells, Starscream and shrinked-down Razorclaw confronted them. Despite initially being seemingly-overpowered by Grimlock, the Decepticons had a signal device that summoned the Mayhem Suppression Squad, led by Colonel Deathsaurus, right on top of the Autobots’ heads
