A cyborg named Garth A7 from the year 2087 travelled back in time to the year 1966 in an attempt to prevent Professor Sigmund Marx from revealing a discovery that made mind control possible and thus the horrible future Garth came from. Garth was not the only time traveling cyborg as two Tracers followed him back in time as well guided by a homing device inside Garth ("Cyborg 2087", flm)

Another long forgotten Mind Control Movie that needs to be remade and re-imagined: Cyborg 2087 .

I would be shocked if James Cameron  was not inspired by this movie when making the Terminator films. The basic plot is that in the future everyone is mind controlled from childhood by the government except for the free thinking resistance who sends a cyborg back in time to prevent the mind controlling technology from being created.

Just like I think Terminator Salvation had the right idea in continuing the franchise by taking it to the future war that we had heard so much about, I think a reboot of this movie should completely forgo the contemporary time traveling story line and focus on the future where everyone is mind controlled except for a handful of resistance members who over the course of the story get mind controlled themselves and turn on their former friends.

There seems to be no shortage of these type of forgotten movies out there who’s stories are perfect for mind control fun. If any eccentric billionaire wants to make a large donation to me, I would be happy to start remaking mind control B movies.
