Thats wild. So many things we take for granted seem to just be completely absent in the states. I read a post the other day saying a lot of places don’t even have sidewalks?

lamination is the english word. they look great!

Is is still lamination when it’s the plastic film that comes in a roll that’s meant for book and notepad cover protection and whatnot? Because in Finnish “laminointi” would be the sturdier plastic cover that you need a machine for.

do you have an example of actual laziness?

yeah! laziness is rarely connected to something important- so it’s that general attitude of ‘why not someone else instead of me’ basically.

e.g.: like you’re sitting on the couch with a cup of tea and you could put it down and get up to find the remote, but you see your mom / dad / sibling passing into the room so instead you go ‘hey, can you get me that remote?’ 

e.g.: getting the answer key to a test instead of studying because you just don’t feel like it / copying homework without even trying to do it yourself for no reason other than the fact that you can / convincing your little brother that mom gave him all the chores instead of you so you don’t have to do them.

again, laziness is characterized by a situation in which you could put the effort in and there’s nothing really stopping you, but you still don’t do it. it’s totally normal human behavior and everyone pretty much does it- which is good, because without it we wouldn’t have a lot of time-saving inventions!

you’re not being an asshole. you just want validation for all the work you put into your art and are frustrated by how tumblr is designed. it’s perfectly reasonable.
