Transfer day...
Got the update: we had 9 embryos that fertilised normally, and EIGHT of them are at blastocyst stage, thank G-d!! I literally can't believe it. The news is almost too good!

Here is to hoping this cycle is a little bit more “average” for me. I can’t handle this long cycle bullshit.
Oh my G-d this is painful. 😩😫 My poor ovaries... I hope it's better soon because yikes.
Anyway long story short, they retrieved 11 eggs this morning. This clinic usually expects 8-12 so that's good. They don't think there's risk of OHSS, surprisingly. My husband's sample was good too. Tomorrow we'll find out how many survive the first step. Honestly at the moment I'm just desperate for this excruciating cramping to go away.
Cycle 54 CD2
After a mess up with the prescription by the clinic, I got them delivered in time for my first injection this evening. So officially it's now go time! Injection #1 of menopur has been done ✔️ Not a fan but I guess I'll get used to it after 2 weeks of this, lol.
PS, shout-out to @hopelesslyhopefulforyou for sharing her IVF journey here. You've prepared me so well for the whole thing and I don't feel so alone during this scary process. ❤️
13dp5dt line progression with one step tests. From my googling, most people only get faint positives, otherwise I'd really be freaking out lmao
Going to be checked today to see what's happening inside of me since I'm still so bloated and my ovaries still hurt so much. Fingers crossed it's not OHSS and that the transfer can still happen on Wednesday 😆 but pretty sure that's wishful thinking...

We have officially hit 4.5 years of actively TTC. For a person who always has so much to say - I’m at a loss for words.

Fellow tumblrs, what. The. Frick is going on with the pregblr tag. I need eye bleach. I remember from 2017 when I was pregnant with Z it was full of others who were pregnant and now it's just p*rn??? Where do I find the other real pregnant ladies to stalk??
