1. Anya
The only thing wrong with this is that Anya sort of blocked part of her outfit with her arm. Otherwise this is terrific! Her face is so fierce and the connection with the camera is awesome. I love her neck extension and the movement in the pose. It’s just an edgy, fashionable shot that fits the creative perfectly. Anya really proved early on that she was a force to be reckoned with.
2. Lauren
Lauren looks so terrifying, like a high fashion serial killer. I think that the animalistic body language is fantastic and really fits the setting. Her eyes are just boring straight through the camera. Lauren did lose her neck entirely, but that’s the only real issue I have with this shot. I know she was called pretty low at panel due to her horrible runway performance this week, but this photo should’ve made up for it.
3. Claire
Claire has my favorite pose this week. It’s full of angles and she hasn’t lost her height even though she’s hunched over. The broken down body language is so high fashion. Every part of her outfit looks awesome. Claire didn’t bring it in her face though. It’s not bad, but I think that she needed more intensity. Although the somewhat blank face kinda works with her body language. Overall, I’m a big fan of this photo.
4. Katarzyna
Katarzyna looks fabulous in this shot. Her body looks amazing, especially her legs. Her pose works really great for the clothes. I like how she’s playing with the meat skirt like it’s fabric while caressing the side of beef with her other hand, it brings the whole meat fashion concept together. I think she could’ve been more fierce/sexy with her expression though. This doesn’t blow me away, but it’s a strong showing from Katarzyna.
5. Whitney
This photo is quirky and different, but I definitely think it’s overrated. I love Whitney’s shocked/surprised expression and intense eye contact. The leg position is good and I like how she’s holding the meat hook. The hand on her chest is little much for me. Whitney has a great body, but I think her torso looks a tad bit boxy in this shot, although that could be due to the styling.
6. Dominique
This is a step up from Dominique’s first two photos, but it’s still middle of the road. I love the attitude in her expression and she’s pulling off the raised eyebrow look without being too cheesy. The clothes/boots look good as well. I’m not really feeling the pose, particularly the arm position and how she pushed her thigh against the barrel.
7. Marvita
Marvita isn’t really doing much but I think it works well. Her pose is solid and her entire outfit looks great, although I don’t really like the random bone she decided to pick up. I would’ve ranked this a little higher if she committed more in the face; she just looks lost/confused.
8. Stacy-Ann
This photo is so amateur. Stacy-Ann’s pose is super basic, particularly the overly popped out hip. I’m not liking how far she pushed her head out to the side, and her face isn’t conveying much either. The only positive is that she has the meat clothes on full display and the boots look awesome, but Stacy-Ann can only rely on modeling 101 for so long.
