1. Laura

Laura’s picture fucking slaughtered me and brought me back to life all at once. It’s hands down my favorite of the cycle and it’s flawless. I’m obsessed with the serpentine motion of her pose and the delicacy of her hands. It’s also impressive how she managed to keep her neck looking ridiculously long despite hunching forward. Her face has never looked better! The seductive expression is perfect and her jawline is insane. Finally, the dress looks absolutely phenomenal and it’s helped by her genius pose. Laura managed to make herself and the dress equally the star of the shot. This picture is mind-blowing to me and I’m glad Laura immediately established herself as the frontrunner in Macau within a week.

2. Annaliese

Annaliese is significantly above the four below her and it’s another addition to the Annaliese-renaissance that’s been happening over the past few weeks. First of all the dress is stunning on her. The pose is simplistic but she’s still making things interesting with the slight backbend and the angles of her arms. While the emotion in her expression is bit much I don’t think she went super overboard, plus her face is beautiful from this angle. Her gaze might be directed slightly too high though. Annaliese produced one of the only good shots this week and her progress is fan-dabby-dozy.

3. Sophie

I think Sophie had some better shots than this, but I have to say that the dress looks amazing. I actually like her choice to sit down and how the fabric is splayed out as a result. What drags this down is her face. The emotion is so overacted and doesn’t seem to be coming from an honest/genuine place. Her eyes are somewhat unfocused as well. Not Sophie’s best work by a long shot but it’s enough to crack the top half in this rather lackluster batch of photos.

4. Alisha

The only reason Alisha is above Catherine and Eboni is that she actually does look good. Facially this is one of her best photos to date: the angle works well for her features and the emotion in her eyes is believable. The pose is okay from the waist up, although she could use more neck and I wish she had turned a bit more towards the camera. I can’t deny that the dress looks horrible though, almost like she’s wrapped up in a comforter or something instead of an amazing garment. Still, at least Alisha managed to make herself look alright, which is enough to keep her out of my bottom 2 since the girls below her failed all around. Alisha shouldn’t have outlasted Catherine though.

5. Eboni

It was a toss up between Eboni and Alisha to round out my bottom 2, both of their shots were elimination worthy. The vulnerable body language is okay but she completely lost her neck and she’s obstructing the top of the dress. In fact the entire dress looks like a mess. Eboni’s face does have some interesting bone structure but I see none of it here; the wig is making her head seem super round and the confused facial expression isn’t helping things either. I’m surprised that Eboni has survived this long and managed to sneak her way into next week.

6. Catherine

I know that Catherine was a disaster on set but they definitely did not pick her best possible shot this week in order to ensure her elimination. Her pose is super wooden and I hate the weird hand and the lazily held fan. She didn’t bring any shape to the dress either. And dear god that face. It’s honestly appalling, her eyes are void of anything and the way the light is hitting her is making her look like a melting wax figure. Catherine had the weakest photo but she deserved to last longer than Alisha or Eboni. This was blatant sabotage.

#1 – Laura

Laura has created a masterpiece. Where everyone else flopped, she soared producing the strongest photo in the competition yet. Like her maple syrup photograph, her movements feel so natural. She has contorted her shoulders, elongated her neck, and yet I don’t feel like she has over-posed at all. Her face is beautiful too, I love the seductive hooded eyes, and the defined jawline. Best of all the dress looks incredibly expensive, even covered in silk worms. I am just in awe every time I look at this shot, a masterful piece of photography and modelling.

#2 – Annaliese

This shot isn’t great, but it is usable. Somehow that enough has qualified it to make top 2 this week. The dress looks beautiful, she has allowed it to drape gorgeously on her body. Her face too is stunning. The pose though is incredibly basic, I mean literally modelling 101 stuff. I want to be annoyed, but at least she produced a usable photo. And that is more than four of her other competitor.
