We had a super busy past weekend at Teopoli and we are trying to let all of our followers know about what happened! Our good friend, member, volunteer and past TSE participant Sam Sfara embarked on a ride to Teopoli in #Gravenhurst, #Muskoka from #Toronto on Friday, May 25th.  The efforts and funds raised for this ride went towards the needed repairs of the Teopoli Catholic Spiritual Centre built on 200 acres of wonderful land. This place has a way of enlightening; so your inner good may be one in tune with your surroundings, and loved ones everyday. It's very much like a pledge to peace on earth. Sam is always looking for new people to ride with him. He is thinking of doing it again so if you're interested you can contact us at [email protected] or 416-243-7319. “My name is Mosuli Ntshonga however most people call me Dezz , I was born in Cape Town and I live in Khayelitsha and will be 25 years old this year. I have been with Zip Zap for over 10 years and had the opportunity to be a part of the Dare to Dream programme, I am now employed at Zip Zap full time as a Technician and am the Coordinator of one of the Outreach programmes. 

I have always like cycling and always wanted to cycle one day,  this year I wanted to take part in the cycling tour of 2018. I  chose to cycle for zip zap because I want to spread the zip zap name to people that know nothing about zip zap and also for zip zap to be known by everyone in cape town.”

I had BASE-jumping accident in early 2000 and my ankle has been fused, limiting significantly my movement and preventing me from running ever again. I thought i would never be able to participate to these type of endurance missions, but i'm going to overcome my physical limitations for greater good.

I love riding my road bike but you can't beat getting up into the mountains somewhere far away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and into the silence. I am focusing on hill work at the moment but trying to mix them up with longer rides.

The reason why I’m riding for Zip Zap is to support an organisation that is becoming closer and closer to my heart. 

They do so much good and are such an inspiration .

Amazing people with amazing soul - you cant help but get caught up in this Circus Magic. 

Real Soul Food - I cant wait to ride with them.

"Being a proud Cape Townian, I've been aware for as long as I can remember of the sterling work Zip Zap Circus School has done in promoting and nurturing the talents of local youngsters in the city and surrounds. However, it was only towards the end of last year when my girlfriend took me to one of their shows that I saw for myself their wonderful work. When the opportunity came up to ride the 2018 Cape Town Cycle Tour for them I jumped at the chance. It will be a huge honour to race with their name on my cycling top come the 11 of March"
