Logos and Branding
- Cyberdog
Cyberdogs logo is very bold and striking and has some varieties often using bright neon colours or mechanical looking designs to fit in with their neon and futuristic style. They focus on creating rave styled clothing so they use many bright colours on their website and certainly in their logos which fits and would attract their target market.
They put brought products into florescent bags printed with a massive cyber dog logo , their website and their QR Code which helps with their promotion and using technology in their marketing.
I'm interested in cyberdog because its one of the shops I visit every so often and I was really attracted by how bold the shop is and the shop attracts local people as well as tourists especially in Camden . I like how loud the shop is speaking both metaphorically and literally. The shop has clothing that pretty standard such as printed t shirts but also has clothing that looks like its from the future.
-Dolls kill
Dolls kill has a lot of alternative clothing however they have a large section of rave style clothing, the colours seen throughout are mainly neon colours as well as many interesting fabrics such as plastic and mesh and some products have even included LED lights. The boxes the products come in vary yet a standard is a black and white box matching the main style of the online store however I did come across a pair of holographic shoes that came in a matching holographic box.
I'm interested in dolls kill as they have a variety of products as well as this "Electric Dolls" collection which is their rave style clothing.Their clothing in similar to cyberdogs style and colour scheme but tends to use more pinks and purples.
- Zolnar
Zolnar is much more high end in comparison to this previous 2 brands and you can tell by the price and their branding. The store has a very simplistic logo of a tringle with a small red stripe and their colour scheme is just black and red. The website itself is very clean and showcases high quality images of each product however to buy products you have to click the link to the sellers etsy page meaning that the clothing is most likely done in very small batches and probably only made by a selection of people making the products more expensive due to the smaller amount of stock.
I chose this brand as its much more high end and allows me to compare between the individual brands. This website is much more simplistic and doesn't have loads of colourful pop-ups and banners all over the website talking about offers and sales.
-What business idea do I prefer
I will most likely create a brand focuses around the dolls kill "Electric dolls " collection as well as use some inspiration from Cyberdog. Both stores have cheap and expensive clothing ranging around £10 - £200 and I like that mid range style advertising and marketing styles from both of these brands.
