Jeremiah and Alison had both already left the Hawthorne family quarters. Alison had left something on the counter for Cygnus to eat, which the young man had picked at, pushed around on the plate, and then scraped off into the trash. He didn't even care that the Lie was watching him as he did it. The 'Lie' being the android his parents had built to follow him around with the face of his dead twin.

Cygnus had managed to slip away from Lyra, though he wasn't entirely sure how long it would be before she found him. She always found him or at least it seemed that way. He had managed to make it down to one of the lower rings, rifling through some items at the pawn shop, as well as wanting to see how many units he could get for piece of tech jewelry. He glanced over as he saw Cass and then back down at the item he was currently looking at. Not something of interest, he pushed it over to her, wondering if she had been waiting for him to finish looking at it.
