💛- A memory that makes them feel angry
This is for Jessamine ^^))
Jessamine darted through the crowd, laughing and giggling. She was being chased by one of her friends in a bit of play. Or so it seemed. The dark-haired youth slammed into the legs of a older looking woman, causing both of them to let out a startled oomph. The children chasing her tripped and fell over them and the bunch squirmed and wiggled until they were able to pull up and out of the tangle.
Jessamine helped the woman to her feet, apologizing profusely and starting to cry. The woman, who had been about to scold the girl, fell short of it. The girl was dressed in barely held together rags and looked like she could use a bit of kindness. The woman tutted, “There, there. It’s alright. Nothing was ruined and clothes can be washed.” She hugged Jessamine to her, patting her head soothingly.
Jessamine stopped sniffling and smiled shyly up at the kind lady. “Thank you, Ma’am.” The woman slipped a bit of gil into the girl’s hands. “Go on now and treat your friends to some sweets. Be careful to watch where you are going.” The dark-haired child nodded her head solemnly and ran off, darting through the crowd until she found her friends off in a dark corner of the market.
“How much ya get?” One of the boys asked, wiping at his face.
Jessamine grinned. “She gave me 20 gil, but I got this!” She held up the lady’s silken purse. “Sweets on me!” She prodded her friends and they ran off to turn in their loot to their respective parents and go get a bit of a sweet treat before going back to work.
The bustle of the busy Ul’dah streets brought her back to the present, a small child at her knees, fear and desperation in their wide eyes. Jessamine had caught them with their hand in her pocket. She sighed softly and knelt, making eye contact. She gave the child a reassuring grin. “Go on now. Be more careful next time.” The child blinked, confusion taking the place of the fear that had filled his eyes earlier. Jessamine let him go and backed off, giving him a lazy salute. The child gave a brief smile and ran off.
When he left, she made her way out of the city, her anger simmering. She still had trouble coming to grips with the anger she felt at her stepmother for convincing her to pickpocket and the obvious care she had showed for her family’s well being. Still...no one that young should have to live off the streets. Jessamine pushed her memories away, focusing on the tasks ahead.
@cyjinn Thank you for the ask :) ))
The Moon in Reverse: When does your character mistrust their feelings or intuition?
I would have said previously that Melisande trusts her feelings and instincts more than anything else, but at the moment she’s so very confused and conflicted. She’s lost her sense of sight, and without her vision to verify what she could smell in the air, she can’t make sense of the nagging feeling that Nathaniel is somehow near her. Her intuition is uncomfortably telling her to question her own reality, but her sense of realism, and the obvious failure of her spell backfiring, has left her thinking she’s just going nuts from grief and aether exposure.

☠ - Sexuality
L’eyline is pansexual. She’ll give pretty much anything a shot and has had mostly positive experiences - although she’s since sworn off Lalafell after one particular time ended with her forgetting the poor little guy was there and stepping on him when she got out of bed. Remorseful embarrassment levels were high that day.

☕ : Does your muse prefer coffee or tea?
“To be honest, I ain’t really a fan of either. Coffee’s too bitter for my tastes, and tea is just..” Failing to find the words, Val’s nose instead scrunches in distaste as she shakes her head. “I guess if there was enough cream and sugar in a cup of coffee, I could probably drink it. But I wouldn’t ever buy it for myself, just take it if it were offered to me to be polite.”
( Best pick-up line ever) Nice shoes. Wanna fuck?
He chuckles, “As if you even needed to bring my shoes into this. Of course I want to fuck, hard and fast just the way you like it, yeah?”
Faerie: If you could get away with anything, what would you do?
He can’t help but laugh, “I can already get away with anything I want love. I mean, who’s going to try and stop me? There are very valid reasons why people fear me on the battlefield.”
“That being said though, there is something I would love to do without any trace of it ever being associated with me. A certain...male...that caused me no end of trouble and pain. I would see him and most of those closest to him dead, making him watch everything until I was done with him.”
