❛ you look like you've got something to say. ❜ from Jett
FINGERS TAP ABSENT MINDEDLY against the table, lost in thought like always. Some sort of cloud hanging over head, darkening her mood.
She could deny it all she wanted but the truth was written in her expression; how bothered she looked. For once it had nothing to do with irritation or the usual malice she had when interacting with a certain someone.
This was completely different, like something had truly hurt her feelings and she were biting back the urge to simply let it all out. With her attention turned to Jett, it wasn't too hard to notice the way her eyes were a little glassy, although, it was gone before either of them could point it out.
"I'm fine, I think..." The lie tasted bitter on her tongue, like a sour fruit she made the mistake of biting into, it made her cringe after moments of letting it slip out. She couldn't stomach the idea of lying, so the songstress took a deep inhale then exhaled slowly and in a shaky manner.
"Do you think I'm cut out to be a teacher?"
