       ❛    i’m starting to learn i may never be free.    ❜    was the first thing yusaku said after moments of silence. were they supposed to catch up   ?   the two of them weren’t old friends or even acquaintances   –   there wasn’t really a word for their situation.

       yusaku was the last person she’d expected to see in the cold    &    dull hospital room. aoi had been here in   &   out   –   listening to all of her complaints   &   desires to toss a can of paint on the walls  (  it’ll give this place /some/ sort of feeling  )

      her hands fumble   &   she speaks up. quick on her feet, quick with her words   –   that’s how miyu always was. not giving a second thought   &   sometimes barely a first thought to what she would say.
