Chapter one of Ballad of the Sad Young Men is up!
Summary: After the kiss, Eric and Buddy became best friends, joining the basement gang. Now that they’re even closer than before, Eric struggles to realize he has feelings for him that won’t go away.
Chapter summary: The guys prank Fez and Kelso, who are convinced Buddy's a vampire. Jackie plans a Halloween party and Donna has mixed feelings.

Chapter summary: The gang reluctantly participates in their school's baseball charity event. As they plot revenge on the opposite team, Buddy and Donna play matchmaker.
I promise I still intend to write botsym I just got hit with terrible writers block for chapter 3.

I just finished the first chapter of my first fanfic ever (shocking I know) I would write but never finish or post but something about t7s and the characters really encouraged me to write and post. I've always wanted a halloween episode where they dress up so I wrote it. Which might be a weird first chapter to have but I just really love halloween. And I love Buddy Morgan of course he only had one episode but he really got a hold on me and became a comfort character. I'm not sure how popular Buddy x Eric is as a ship but I wanted to write what the show would be like with him and more importantly his relationships with the other characters instead of just a fic that focused on them. I feel like he'd be a great addition to the main cast because of how different he is compared to everyone. I had a lot of fun writing, Hyde was kinda hard for me to write probably cause I'm not as witty as he is. Jackie was pretty easy for me to write she's great. I did not think it'd end up being 15k words so chapter 2 might take a while. But I'm very excited writing chapter 2 and really love how it's coming out. I'm actually researching how to play baseball for it so I hope people like baseball episodes!
