there were so many parts that I really liked in chapter 8. I liked when Natasha stood up for her wife and said “talk to Wanda like that again and see what happens” I also liked the moment when R peeked over Wanda’s torso to see Yelena and Kate. That seemed so cute to me!! And then Wanda hesitated and then just decided to stay with R. But my favorite part would have to be the last part of the chapter where R wanted to call Wanda “mama”. YES WANDA IS MAMA!! I always love when Wanda acts motherly so I really enjoyed reading that she was combing R’s hair and humming a lullaby which made R think of when she was really young. That is so sweet to me!!

I think that Natasha should be called “papa” since Wanda wants her to have a matching name with hers. That’s what mama Wanda would want.

I’m kind of debating on the titles right now. Someone had a good point, Natasha does feel kinda mama in this story so I can act like it was directed toward her at the end. Orrr just keep it as is. We’ll see 🙂‍↕️

SNIPPET FOR CHAPTER 8? I need the crumbs

sure 😊 idk how i feel about this opening yet, but for now this is a little bit of Chapter 8's opening:

Wanda's smile drops immediately, her head turning toward the front door just a few paces away from the dining room. Beside you, Natasha lets out a heavy sigh, like she already knows who's standing on the other side of it.

Natasha's hand finds yours under the table, squeezing your fingers briefly before holding them there. It feels like the whole atmosphere in the room suddenly shifts—all that warm, happy air slowly draining away until everything just feels lukewarm. You meet Natasha's eyes. She's giving you a small smile, but her eyes are swimming with too many thoughts for you to pick out.

"I'll get the door."

Natasha's hand slips out of yours. Your fingers instinctively chase hers. Maybe subconsciously, you know who's at the door too. And maybe, more than anything, you wish Natasha would just stay and protect you from it. But she's already sitting up and walking away.

Wanda's hand cups your cheek, gently turning your focus back toward her. Her eyes are full of a deep understanding.

Understanding of what? you can't help but wonder. Your thoughts are finally beginning to shake off the thick syrup that was keeping them down. It's usually frustrating not being able to think clearly, but today, with them taking care of things for you, thinking for you, it finally felt like you could breathe calmly instead of gasping for air.

"I can turn them away," Wanda offers, her voice holding a gentle tone that eases the panic in your chest for a second. "It's Kate and Yelena."

Your hands find their way to the tops of your thighs, rubbing them against the fuzzy fabric incessantly. What do I do? The thoughts consume you, your gaze drifting down to the container in front of Wanda. Clearly Wanda and Natasha know them. What if this situation is making things difficult for everyone?

"I—" you start, but the sharp sound of the front door swinging open makes your mouth snap shut.

yesterdays chapter was so good omg omg !! i love the ending so much, i can’t help but love soft moments like that. also the thought of r going back home is really stressing me out because of matt 😥 i bet he’s angry because she never came home and i fear a confrontation with him is the very last thing r needs 💔

I'm happy and sad yelena, kate and r got together even though I knew it wasn't gonna be easy. I'm guessing they are probably gonna stalk her lowkey?😂 I feel like yelena definitely is tho.

I know I kinda let people push me around with this chapter, but I promise I’ll try to put my foot down more 😅 I just think you guys are cuties so I feel like I get swayed easily. With CYou being more spaced out, I get to write more one-shots which has been staving off writers block.
