((I have a head canon that Cyprus really really loves nature, plants and animals alike, because of these small facts:

1. 371 species of bird can be seen on the island.

2. Cyprus is home to 20 rare species of orchid.

3.  More than 1950 species of flowering plant in Cyprus, 140 of which are found nowhere else in the world.

4.  260 species of fish circle the waters

5.  One of only a few places in the world where Green Turtles & Loggerhead Turtles nest.

6.  The Cyprus Mufflon is a wild sheep that is found in the Troodos & Paphos mountains. It exists nowhere else in the world.

and this is coming from one of Europe's smallest countries.))
