Well for starters what is Cyquest about? :D

CyQ is about Cyan Azure going on a quest to revive his friends after being accused of their murder. It's set on a magical post-apocalyptic alien world, and will focus heavily on recognizing trauma and accepting help.

CyQuest is just the working title, so I hope to change it soon actually!

It's a two-part story, with one part being comic and the other being (hopefully) animatic put to music.

The first part will establish the first set of primary characters, and the second will establish the next set. I wanna create both simultaneously so they eventually converge into a singular story :D

Cyquest question! Gimme all them juicy details about the world :D Ok but a little more narrowed down for you, what's the continent/country like where most of the story takes place? Like, average weather, biomes, creatures that exist there etc :D And if you want a part 2, what kind of people/races/communities are there too. And go wild, I love hearing about people's worlds they've created, our imaginations are crazy bro! :D

So the names may change because reasons, but basically the story takes place on Hanatera, the birthplace of all magic.

Magical people (like magical girls) are constructs of this humanoid alien race known as Maji, which is what Cyan Azure is.

The planet used to be like ours, full of light and life and several countries and communities and culture, so on... but due to a cataclysmic event involving an ancient weapon during a centuries-old war, the people of Hanatera now live among the skies on floating island remains of their planet's surface.

The planet now lives under an eternal black storm which rarely ever parts to reveal their harsh binary sun rays. Of course, that doesn't mean the surface is devoid of life, or survivors.

Plant life is far and few between, with only one oasis surviving near a thinned, frozen forest, all near the last remaining untouched shreds of land. What they do have are mostly cactus-like plants, and very soft grass which grows along watery and icy remains.

Animals that have survived were mostly cave-dwelling species and ones adept for their survival skills. Among them are the Plotdogs, which I've drawn before, and are spider-like wolf creatures known for being incredibly deadly hunters.

Survivors have built themselves a sanctuary on the surface near the oasis; a city made of crystalline towers. Some survivors have made their homes among the wastes, fighting against the tyrannical rule of the Royal Circle who live among the clouds. Not only that, but rebel forces constantly have to stay alert for bandits, armada searches, massive sand storms, acid rain... it's like Fury Road down there.

Weather above the storm and on the islands is fair and without worry. The air is crisp and thin, but the Maji aren't much affected by it. Some magical birds live among them, and some rodents and other small creatures who can live with little atmosphere.

The story is gonna be all over the place, really :D I wanna visit everywhere I can with you!! I have so many ideas I’d love to share when I release it!!
