😍 Aboustely beautiful. Admittedly the first few scenes are a bit dull to sit through but once the movie starts going, it fills with passion. A struggling playwriter finds his muse in his friend's lover, the playwriter spends days and nights with his inspiration in form of letters until the inspiration spills out of him which forces him to create Cyrano, my love; a play that near mimics his own beauty in love. I absoutely loved it. Nearly wept with tears of love during some scenes. The beauty in the trick photography as they projected the stage scenes. The balance between the difference of love of a muse and love of a woman, the way it sways gently between a man's love for a woman; the way he craves lust while she craves intelligence and the way a husband balances his love of wife and the love of his muse. The wonder of fearing failure and the amazement in success. The tease of nay-sayers to the frustration of finding true enjoyment in not only the stage but what leads up to the curtain call.
