If like me, you’re waiting on Nitzer Ebb to release something new (umm, I still believe fuck you), there are many side projects Douglas J McCarthy has been involved with over the years. One you may have missed was the absolutely scary brilliant DJMREX (Douglas J McCarthy + Cyrus Rex). They released Ep1 and Ep2. I especially like Ep2 as it felt more experimental and “gristle’y” in contrast to Ep1’s more “traditional” song structures. I highly recommend!!
