GINO: Hey, this place is amazing!

CYRUS: Thanks, it’s a bit modest compared to usual but with the show and the album, it was hard to plan everything.

*clears throat*

CYRUS: Shit, sorry. This is an old friend of mine. Gino, meet Andy. Andy, Gino.

GINO: Ah so you’re the infamous Andy. It’s nice to finally put a face to the name.

ANDY: *groans* Andrew, please. He knows I hate when he fucking calls me Andy.

GINO: Oh, I’m sorr--

CYRUS: Come on ANDY! Andrew is just too impersonal. Just because you’re a big fancy chef doesn’t mean you have to be SO serious all the time.

ANDY: I hate you. With my entire being, I hate you.

CYRUS: You love me, and you know it.

ANDY: How do you put up with him all day, every day. If I were locked in an apartment with him, I’d throw myself off the top floor.

GINO: *laughs* Well to be fair, it IS a pretty big apartment.

CYRUS: HEY!

ANDY: *laughs* I like you. I hope things work out; this guy can be a handful in the best of times.

GINO: Yeah... I’m learning that pretty quickly.

CYRUS: Still standing right here…

ANDY: I hope you have a good night; Gino was it, and don’t let these people get to you.

GINO: Thanks, I’ll do my best.

ANDY: Best we can all hope for, kid.

CYRUS: I’ll catch up with you later, mate. We can talk about how much you’re going to donate.

ANDY: *groans* You’re seriously going to milk me for all I’m worth one of these days…

CYRUS: For a good cause, you’ll always make more.

DAY THIRTEEN: THE GALA PART 2 (GINO 2/2)

GINO: I think what you’re doing here is really amazing. I’d be lying if I said I expected it from you.

CYRUS: Yeah well, I’d hate to have kids have to go through what I did.

GINO: Your family wasn’t the accepting type, then?

CYRUS: What tipped it off? The drug habit or just my general disdain for saying anything about myself?

GINO: How much you care about everyone around you.

CYRUS: What?

GINO: That’s what told me. Not the things about yourself you think are broken, but the ways you try to make sure that no one else is.

CYRUS: Careful, you’re getting dangerously close to figuring out I’m not just a stupid rich playboy. You might not like what out find.

GINO: I’m still here, aren’t I?

CYRUS: For now.

GINO: You can’t push me away, Cyrus. You’re not that man. Not anymore.

CYRUS: Shows how much you still don’t know me.

GINO: I could if you let me. You don’t have to build your walls so high.

CYRUS: Maybe I just want to see who cares enough to climb them.

GINO: Even those who care the most get tired eventually. You have to meet people in the middle, you can’t keep testing them until they prove you right.

Bachelor Update

Ok, so. I know things have kind of fallen off because I had some mental health issues flair up majorly, and also I was just severely burnt out on the sims in general. 

I still love this story and all the characters involved with my whole heart. 

But I’ve realised that a major part of the storytelling process was making me incredibly unhappy and actually making the burn out I was experiencing about 10 times worse than it otherwise would have been. The process of posing and taking pictures was incredibly frustrating and draining for me. So I won’t be continuing the story in that manner anymore.

BUT I have continued to write. So, for anyone that is actually still interested in the story, and where it’s going. Feel free to shoot me a message and I’ll send you a link to the doc with the script. It’s written much like a screenplay, focused on dialogue and scene changes/camera shifts. I know it’s not the same as seeing everything play out in the photos, and I apologise for not being able to continue the story in the way that you all deserve, especially the contestants, but this is what’s best for me as a creative.

I hope you understand and respect that. And I hope if you do decide to read the rest, that you like where it goes.

CYRUS: This was really nice, guys. I’ve been really stressed with everything that’s going on. The album, the gala, and you know, Julianna..

JONESY: Oh yeah the galas coming up really soon isn’t it?

CYRUS: Yeah, they’re doing the last of the prep today and tomorrow actually.

ACE: I’m sorry, gala?!

CYRUS: Yeah, big charity party I do every year. Help put some money into local LGBT organizations and other good causes. Though we mostly focus on the community.

GINO: That’s amazing. I didn’t know you did that..

CYRUS: *chuckles* Not so one note.

GINO: I never thought you were.

JESSE: So you’re going to be gone again? To go to the gala, I mean.

CYRUS: What? No. It’s going to be a group date. Got fancy duds for you guys and everything. You’ll get to meet some of my more presentable friends. We’re making a whole day of it. Should be a fun time. Booze, music, and tons of people showing off for a good cause. *chuckles*

JONESY: Same guests you usually have?

CYRUS: A few of the regulars. Couple news faces who want to get in on the fun. I heard Bella Goth is gracing us with her presence this time.

JESSE: So it’s a pretty big deal then..

CYRUS: Eh, not really. But we do hope to bring in a good amount of money this year.

FRANKIE: Wait can be back up a second. You got clothes for us? Can we see?!

CYRUS: Sorry, love. Gotta wait for the big reveal. But you’ll all be red carpet ready.

ACE: Oh god, I’m going to hate this aren’t I?

CYRUS: Quite possibly. But it’ll be fun!
