Sibyl bit her lip and then shrugged a little as she shook her head. “I do not know if he is occupied, but I can pray that he is as I do not believe he would welcome these words or the request I would try to make.”
Sibyl was a little surprised at her bravery in approaching one of Gannicus’ brothers, but Agron was held in high regard by many and she knew he would not assume she was approaching him for anything of a carnal nature.
“I wish to learn to defend myself in close quarters.” She looked down, blushing slightly before she raised her eyes to his again. “I will never be a warrior, but I do not wish to be completely helpless if someone tries to lay unwanted hands on me again.”
She really hoped Agron didn’t ask her why she was asking this and she did not wish to cause trouble in the encampment.
