okay first of all i one hundred percent think they have protocol and covert (mostly non-verbal) signs for when they're in public so jot that down (russian to the altar cas-hand-on-dean-lower-back i am looking directly at you) one of the things is definitely for I Saw You Being A Brat Just Then, And Don't Think We Won't Talk About That Later >:)
outside of that though i don't think they'd like risking being exhibitiony, esp in vanilla spaces- i think those little secret things would be exciting enough for them. k*nk spaces would potentially be a whole different ballgame, dean would Love getting to visibly and publicly Belong to Cas

also i think at some point dean has to just sit in a chair in the kitchen while cas makes HIM dinner and dean just has to sit there and he's not allowed to move or speak and he just has to Let Him he has to accept the act of care AND he can't micromanage it. horrible <3
dean tied to a chair in the living room forced to watch a sappy movie and then listen to cas list off all the things he loves about him and repeat them back to him
Cas Hand Feeds Dean While Dean Is At His Feet. Regularly.
dean makes one too many jokes about "i could be a top" so cas sits him down on the couch and puts on disco music and tells dean he can turn it off when he ties a perfect line of single column knots up cas's arm. dean is suddenly harrowed to realize he has actually never not once paid attention
cas giving dean a cash allowance and waiting on a bench outside while he sends dean into ~the store~ to buy........... clothes........... or.................. activity enhancers......... of his choosing. similarly, cas telling dean they're going to split up and sending dean with a list to go grocery shopping while he knows CAS is in ~the store~ but does NOT know what he's buying
and yeah them just....... just constantly keeping watch of and doing little things for each other, gauging the other's moods and needs, cas always knowing when to put his hand on the small of dean's back to ground him, dean coming up next to/behind cas and standing with his hands casually behind his back with the front of his left shoulder brushing the back of cas's right shoulder to ground HIM.........
