Something is really fishy about all these NPCs skipping town. I know one intention is so Arthur needs to warn the kids about time quangles. But they are taking out the party's strongest allies. Arthur has dones the "dues ex machina" on multiple occasions, Ayda is an insanely powerful wizard that flooded hell for Fig, and Gilear is the group's crutch (emotionally of course). AND Ragh is talking about getting recruited for pro bloodrush.
It's fishy. Specifically like that scene in Jimmy Neutron when all the parents were "called on vacation" and they had really all been kidnapped. I'm convinced someone is planting vacations and get aways to isolate the kids.
