Skydancer saturday!! part 1/???
*looks at 50+ skydancers* We’re in for a long haul bois,,,,,
Names & brief lore snippets under the cut!
Row 1: Envy (he/him) & Lagoon (he/him). Envy is Thunder Hollow’s guard captain and lead strategist! Lagoon is the clan’s chief veterinarian and, due to his friendly nature, he’s also been elected to the Council.
Row 2: Pyrite (she/her) & Rialta (she/her). Pyrite is the clan’s light representative and also its main temple priestess! She’s incredibly pious and also quite argumentative, but there’s no denying that she knows her stuff when it comes to the deities and religion in general. Rialta is the water representative and also the primary proprietor the local bathhouse.
Row 3: Sorrell (he/him) & Artemis (she/her). Sorrell is the clan’s ice ambassador! He’s generally a quiet soul who harbors a great deal of wanderlust, which makes him perfect for the job of forging alliances with distant ice clans. Artemis is the shadow ambassador and she’s quite a deal less charismatic than Sorrell, though she makes up for her blunt, know-it-all nature with sheer magical skill. She uses her frequent trips to the Tangled Wood to learn new spells to add to her arsenal!
Row 4: Riku (she/her) & Revali (he/him). Riku is the clan’s earth ambassador! She cannot fly due to her heavy opalescent growths and strange proportions (her wingspan is literally twice the length of her body!), though she now has special interlocking wing supports that can help her glide. She’s a solemn, contemplative dragon whose main hobby (when she’s not busy working out alliances) is interior design! Revali is Thunder Hollow’s pompous archer captain, of course XD
Row 5: Fenris (she/her) & Skye (she/her). Fenris is the Hollow Guard’s newest member! While she was still in the egg, a vengeant group of beastfolk cursed her to possess a second soul: an animal soul. This strange dual nature causes her to be caught between one form or the other, with the animal shape becoming increasingly present when she experiences strong emotions. She was abandoned by her parents early on but later adopted by a pair of Corven brothers. The trio of them eventually sought solace in Thunder Hollow, and the rest is history! She hopes to put her unique shape to good use in protecting the clan. Skye is the clan’s matronly greeter and information broker! She helps guide visitors to where they’re hoping to go and assists with the process of becoming a clanmember for any interested parties. She’s calm and empathetic but can be a bit overbearing and gossipy at times!
