I took my box of Christmas lights out of storage this morning. I know, it’s only October, but I figured if I actually want to get them untangled by Christmas morning then I should probably start now. I don’t really understand how this nonsense happened. When I put them in the box, they were totally untangled.
HE HATED TOWN EVENTS. and no one knew that better than his ex-boyfriend. noah at least made them somehow manageable, dragging him along to events his dad insisted on bash going to and not leaving his sight for a mere moment. he liked noah’s company. he eased him up. but he ALSO liked flaunting his sexuality in his dad’s face since he knew how much he didn’t approve. if bash and noah could have a fun time and ALSO piss off his dad, how could he resist? his classic lopsided grin preyed onto his lips the moment he spotted his ex by the bar, raising his brows as he leaned against it, the space between the two of them minimal and bash was already a bit tipsy. “well aren’t you a sight for sore eyes, huh?” yes. he was flirtatious. but noah really made it effortless. a chuckle escaped from his lips, “seriously though, man. you look really fucking good. what are you drinking?”
Her gaze quickly dropped and she stared at the moon's reflection in the ocean. Her mouth dropped slightly as she appreciated the aesthetic. Nature was always something she appreciated, but she was never this awestruck. Hearing a car engine, she got out of her car, and crossed her arms.
"Alright, I have an idea for this short. I'll sing Moonlight Drive, and you'll film. It's creative, and witty. I mean, look at the moon," she said, not even bothering with pleasantries as Noah came out of his car.
Without waiting for a response, Noelle took her shoes off and walked in the sand, stepping gingerly into the water. Chills went down her spine, but she was determined. "I want to swim to the moon, like in that song." she said to no one in particular, outstretching her arms. She earned an odd look from Noah, who was situating his camera, trying to focus it on Noelle, who kept moving. "Noelle, stop moving. I can't focus this thing," he rolled his eyes, mashing his glasses up the bridge of his nose.
Sighing, Noelle stood still, aching to only go further into the water.
