Auggie really wasn’t one to date. He had enough problems with work, his son, and his ex wife. He barely had time to hang out with friends, let alone try and make a relationship work. However after months of Jude, and Lucy trying to play matchmaker, he finally asked Aurora out to coffee. He had always thought she was pretty, and fun to talk to when he got the chance, but he wasn’t exactly sure where this would all lead.
He arrived to her house ten minutes early, knocking gently on the door, as his son waited by his side, anxious to go in and hang out with his babysitter. When the door opened, he smiled, watching as his son ran right in as if he owned the place. “Sorry about him, excited to see Lucy I guess.” he greeted Aurora with a soft smile. “I’m um...ready whenever you are.”
