Hyde was still sweaty from his session by the time he walked through the apartment door. He sighed and shrugged off his jacket, expecting to have the studio to himself and to get a shower and maybe a nap in. As much as he loved his job sometimes it could really get the best out of him. However when he entered the studio and saw his Rose curled up in bed, he couldn’t help the smile that came over him. He approached like a hunter finding prey, only instead of pouncing he carefully crawled onto the large bed besides her leaning down to pepper kisses up her arm to her throat where he playfully nipped. “It’s almost two pm, how are you still asleep?” he asked quietly as his hand came to cup her jaw.

“Yeah! Got one!” cheered the red-head, jumping down from herbroom to earn herself a little victory dance. “That’s three for me! Beat that,Finnigan.” Rose laughed, wiggling her eyebrows at him as she added anotherclumsy twirl to her hurrah. A bubble of laughter emitted from Colin’s lips ashe watched the girl jump around below him, proud of her victory over the ‘living, breathing, bicep’. It was a chilly evening at the Quidditch pitch and the twoof them decided to make the most of their free time by making a game of tossingquaffles into the rings standing at each end of the pitch. Not without a fewdrinks of course. Superior at first, Colin found that the more he drank, theworse his accuracy became. Miraculously, it seemed as if drunk Rose Weasley wastwice the Qudditch player than she was sober, which put her far ahead in thegame.
Staying coordinated on the broomstick was hard enough, butholding a quaffle in one hand was even worse. In a last ditch effort, Colinarched his back and threw the quaffle with all of his might towards the rings, generating enough force to nearly knock him out of the air. Much to hisdisappointment, however, the quaffle had missed its mark and landed just wideof one of the rings. “Shite. Alright, you win this round Weasley.” Colin frownedin defeat, landing himself on the pitch just beside the girl, whom was nowbeaming with pride.
“Admit it. I’m a better player than you.” She teased, pickingup the large quaffle and holding it against her chest. From a first look, Colincould immediately tell that she was fairly drunk. Her eyes were completely glossed over andshe rocked back and forth on her heels, almost as if she was trying to keepherself from falling over. “Ha. In your dreams, Weasley.” Colin scoffed, takinga few steps closer to the girl.
“Oh, c’mon. I won fair and square. You’re cheating.” She whined, peering up athim. Even from a few feet away, Colin could smell the alcohol on her breath, bringing a slight grin to his face. He took a few more steps closer to heruntil he was standing directly above the girl, his voice slurred, but stern. “Onemore round. I’ll give you one more shot. And then we’ll see who the winnerreally is.” Rose watched him for a few moments before slowly nodding, herglazed eyes remaining glued on his face. “And what do I get when I win, huh? What’s in it for me?”
The grin on his face grew even further as he took one morestep towards her, raising a hand to lightly lift her chin as he brought his downface closer to hers. His nose was nearly inches away from hers, letting his eyes flicker down to her pale lips. “I don’t know. You tell me.” With that, he released herfrom his grasp, not without shooting her a wink, and clambered over to hisbroomstick. “Let’s get to it, yeah? You don’t want to keep me waiting.”
