His approach is a thundering stomp, his presence a growl — no smile, only a snarl. Duke is one of the largest and most aggressive werewolves in D’Alinte. Few dare to cross him, and even his kin keep their distance, knowing how dangerous and ferocious Duke can be. But there is one he never growls at — the only one who makes his tail wag endlessly, the one Duke would play with all day and protect no matter what.

Yes, Stefan cannot feel emotions. For him, ‘friendship’ is more about cooperation than feelings. And yet, Stefan is Duke’s friend, and Duke is Stefan’s.

P.S.: Unlike his kin, the Duke never takes human form, and so his true name remains unknown. Aron gave the wolf this moniker in honor of a dog with a similar story from a little-known book, as well as for the werewolf’s imposing, almost regal stature.

It's a bit unfair, this is old art... But this year I didn't draw anything for the New Year, so we'll pretend this art is fresh!

And what a year—such art! This year I'm like Stefan—I feel nothing, no pain, no suffering, no joy, but I continue to function.

May next year be better!

One day, Linos came across a poster of some k-pop group. Even though he had no idea who they were or what they were singing about, he instantly fell in love with their unusual bold outfits — dark, yet sparkling, like stars scattered across the canvas of a night sky. Of course, Stefan immediately sewed Linos something similar to wear.

P.S.: This is the very first drawing I’ve ever made fully on a graphic display (before this, I always used a regular graphics tablet). And I just can’t get over how utterly adorable Linos turned out.

It’s kind of hard to keep in mind all of Kosei’s monstrous plans when you’re walking behind him and see those adorable little paw pads. Or when one lion ear suddenly twitches at a sound. Or when his tail gives away a shift in mood… How could something this charming possibly want to destroy the world?

P.S. Yes, throughout the entire trilogy Kosei only took his sphinx form once — but that doesn’t stop me from absolutely loving to draw him this way!"

Besides his chatter and natural charm, Linos has one more defining trait — a boundless, almost cosmic curiosity, especially for the world of those who walk on land. His fascination is not scientific; rather, he longs to discover everything about the human world, all the more so because D’Alinte itself is only a reflection of countless cultures gathered in one place. Yet D’Alinte is just a copy of a vast world Linos dreams of exploring. Since he cannot walk the earth, he learns about humans beneath the waves instead.

In rusted chests and sunken trunks he finds endless wonders — trinkets, treasures, and, most enchanting of all, clothes. For those who live underwater, garments are unnecessary, but Linos delights in seeing himself adorned in shimmering, colorful fabrics. Of course, most of what he salvages is ruined beyond use… and that is when Stefan comes in. Whenever he has a spare moment, Stefan sews clothes for Linos. He doesn’t even need measurements — his eye is flawless.

Linos is one of my most charming characters. He stands out among all the scarred and battle-hardened heroes with his lightness and warmth. Maybe that’s why so many people feel drawn to him? Linos won’t judge you, never lecture you even if you’ve made a mistake — instead, he listens like no one else. And if he can’t offer advice, he’ll simply make you feel better right here and now.

Sometimes, though, it’s impossible to keep up with his thoughts — he jumps between topics so quickly that asking him to go back usually won’t work. And if he does return, it won’t be for long.

He even has his own little character growth arc… but on a much smaller scale than the others.
