Imagine how happy and trusted Grimmjow’s Fraccións would feel if their s/o fell asleep with them. Like whether they’re alone together,or they’re all together doing something, they just feel so honored that you trust them enough to keep you safe that you let yourself be completely vulnerable with them like that.

they themselves have to trust you COMPLETELY to sleep in your presence, they have to have faith that you won’t try to hurt them while they’re sleeping or take advantage of anything

so naturally they assume that the same is true for you

and it literally just melts them to know that you trust them that much

Because of his hollow mask, Di-Roy can only sleep on his back. Luck for him I’m a side sleeper who needs to hug things in their sleep.

Okay but how actually does this thing work?

The way the anime depicts it (and to be fair, what the second panel suggests) is that a maybe infinite height column of ice forms inside the circle, freezing whatever is inside, and then shatters, taking whatever is inside with it.

But what happens to the ice? That’s a lot of ice! And that’s really not a lot of ice we’re seeing here behind Rukia after the shattering.
