Tomorrow is my demon. Fuck him.

We all have to face demons. We all have to look them in the face, green or red, flaming eyes that pierce through your ribs and collapse your lungs. As much as our bodies cringe at the sight of the damn things, crippled with missing limbs and mouths bigger than eyes to scream hate into your ears, we can't fight them with wishes. We have to make swords out of broken ribs and bullets from blood. If they take over our bodies then we'll end up 10-feet beneath the ground and it'll be our own faults. If we can't manage to pick up a jagged clavicle from our rusted shoulders then we are just itching the dirt beneath our feet, digging our own graves. Even though the demons are recklessly cruel in ripping through the flesh across our chests like possessed hyenas in search of an empty heart to fill, we must fight. There must be something out there, and as hard as it is to stare into the face of my blazing demons I am much more afraid of giving up.
